The Miriam Hospital has been named a Blue Distinction Center for Complex and Rare Cancers by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island. Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam, both Lifespan hospitals, are the only two hospitals in Rhode Island to be recognized with this designation.
